On Tuesday FreedomPop introduces this feature in US Market which currently supports this devices

My understanding is that the phone MUST BE an off-contract phone in order to qualify for BYOD.

Apparently LTE phones (Galaxy S3) are also a no-go at this point. Likely has to do with the SIM card requirement. Ting is fighting the SIM card issue to get the Nexus 5 (from Google, not Sprint) going. Hopefully Sprint will get this straightened out quickly and that should help FreedomPop ease things along as well.

Sprint does seem to be enacting a 1 year delay on some phones before they can be used on MVNOs. Google Sprint block S4 MVNO
